Isla del Cocodrilo means “Island of Crocodile” relates to the island of Cuba. Affectionately known as Crocodile Island due to its resemblance to the unique and critically endangered Cuban Crocodile only found in the Zapata Swamp and on the Isle of Youth.
Description
There is no cuban tobacco in this cigar, but the name does pay tribute to the Island. Expect a medium to full-bodied profile with rich notes of cedar and earth with hints of spice and vanilla on the finish.
The wrapper is culled using the Desflorado method. This is a method that removes the flower from the plant while in the field, which then allows the plant to redirect its energy back in to the leaves, resulting in a stronger tobacco.
