The La Flor Dominicana 30 Years Chisel is an ultra-premium, full-bodied masterpiece created to honor three decades of tobacco excellence from founders Litto and Ines Gomez. Measuring 6 ½ x 58 in LFD’s legendary, patented box-pressed Chisel format, this celebratory smoke is a rare collector’s item capped at just 2,000 limited-edition 60-count humidors worldwide. Crafted with vintage estate-grown Dominican tobaccos and a dark, oily wrapper, it delivers an intense, decadent flavor profile built for the true aficionado.
Before La Flor Dominicana became synonymous with the most powerful boutique cigars on earth, founders Litto and Ines Gomez entered the cigar world in 1994 with a brand called Los Libertadores. Following a dispute with a former partner, they pivoted, stepped out on their own, and launched LFD in 1996.
At the time, the market was dominated by mild, predictable smokes. Litto and Ines chose a different path, establishing their own farm in the unforgiving, windy microclimate of La Canela. There, they cultivated the high-octane Dominican tobacco that would change the industry forever. This 30th Anniversary release is a tribute to that relentless journey.
The packaging honors this heritage perfectly. The main band displays a vibrant pink tobacco flower—a direct nod to the brand’s original 1990s artwork. Additionally, each 60-count humidor is handcrafted at Tony Gomez’s box factory, featuring a classic portrait of Litto and Ines on horseback on the inside of the lid.
