The Wise Man Maduro is more than just a premium cigar—it is a tribute to Nicaraguan heritage. Crafted by master blender Nick Melillo, the name draws inspiration from El Güegüense (“The Wise Man”), a satirical 17th-century folk drama that represents the sharp wit and resilient spirit of the Nicaraguan people.

To bring this story to life, Foundation partnered with the legendary My Father Cigars factory in Estelí. Together, they created a blend that captures the very soul of Nicaraguan tobacco.

The journey begins with an iconic, toothy Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper. Tucked underneath is a robust Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder from Jalapa, holding together a meticulous selection of filler tobaccos from the fertile soils of Estelí and Condega. The result is a bold, sophisticated smoke that unfolds with layers of dark cocoa, espresso bean, rich leather, and a signature black pepper finish.
