FOUNDATION CIGARS OLMEC CLARO – ROBUSTO
Price range: $43.00 through $398.00
While standard San Andrés wrappers are famous for being thick, oily, and intensely dark brown (Maduro), the Claro version refers to leaves from the same plant that are lighter in color and processed differently.
Description
The Foundation Olmec Claro Robusto is a premium, box-pressed boutique cigar that blends ancient Mesoamerican history with modern Nicaraguan craftsmanship. This 5 x 50 vitola features a Mexican San Andrés Claro wrapper over three-year-aged Nicaraguan binder and filler. Unlike traditional dark maduros, this Claro wrapper is slow-fermented at lower temperatures to preserve its vibrant, reddish-brown hue and subtle nuances. The result is a medium-to-full-bodied smoke featuring a bright, earthy, and exceptionally creamy profile balanced by a distinct natural sweetness.
Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés Claro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaraguan tobacco that has been aged for 3+ years
Origin: Nicaragua
