The name itself tells the story. While Mi Querida literally translates to “my dearest” from Spanish, in Nicaraguan culture it carries a much more provocative meaning: your secret mistress. This blend is Saka’s tribute to the forbidden, irresistible allure of dark maduro tobaccos. To bring this vision to life, Saka partnered with the legendary NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, working alongside Master Cigarmaker Raul Disla to ensure absolute construction perfection.
Every master blender has a personal obsession, and for Steve Saka, that obsession is authentic Broadleaf tobacco. While his debut release, Sobremesa, showcased elegant sophistication, Mi Querida was created to satisfy a craving for something a bit dirtier, heavier, and more traditional.
