The Mi Querida Black blend started as a total secret. Back in 2021, Steve Saka quietly rolled a super-exclusive cigar called the “EM Maduro.” It was a one-time release to celebrate JR Cigar’s 50th Anniversary. The problem? It was just too good to lock away forever.

By 2022, Saka released it worldwide as the SakaKhan—a massive 7¼ x 54 monster named after his old Navy nickname.

Smokers absolutely loved the SakaKhan, but let’s be honest: not everyone has two hours to commit to a single cigar. Fans begged for that exact same mouth-watering flavor profile in a smaller, everyday format. Saka delivered. At the 2023 trade show, he dropped the PapaSaka.

Measuring in at a comfortable 5⅝ x 48, this size is the absolute sweet spot. It compresses all those thick Broadleaf oils and rich natural sweetness into a shorter, punchier smoke you can actually enjoy on a weeknight.
